Curved COLA provides reliable shade This Melbourne school wanted to upgrade their COLA structure. Greenline Group not only removed the old structure, we designed and installed a new curved roof COLA. Measuring 15m x 15m, this COLA had skylights inset with a view to creating a light-filled ambience beneath the COLA. This structure provides a solid, dependable and aesthetic solution to shading an eating area outside their canteen. |

Geelong Grammar – PVC Barrel Vault A stepped barrel vault provides a striking and unique cover for Geelong Grammar School’s playground. The stepped design and use of white PVC give the barrel vault an felling of oppenness, but without compromising the high level of weather protection. The PVC’s translucency allows light to filter through to create a light-filled atmosphere underneath the structure. It also provides a 100% waterproof cover for the children. The PVC measures 24m x 10m with sufficient headroom to maintain the height needed to clear the playground equipment. |

Unique banner at Coles Taylor Hill with textile facades Working with an architect, Greenline manufactured & installed a textile façade banner for the new Coles at Taylor Hill. Textile façades proved to be a practical and innovative alternative for Coles’ banner. It’s capabilities to be printed on, ease of installation, combined to make textile façades an entirely viable option. Lighting was also employed to make a dramatic statement at night time. Textile façades can be used to provide an easier and practical option for branding panels. Its ability to be printed on means it is virtually an open canvas for the designer to incorporate pictures, artwork and corporate identity into a building façade, with the flexibility of creating any three-dimensional shape you can imagine! |

Textile façade proves the perfect blend of creativity & practicality The AUT Millennium Campus needed a screen to go at the front of their new buildings in Auckland, with provision for graphics and three-dimensional shape without full light blockout. Greenline’s textile façade system proved to fit the bill exactly! The inherent flexibility of the fabric meant that structural requirements to create the shape were kept to a minimum (keeping the whole screen very light) and graphics were applied very effectively producing an entirely successful result. |

Textile Façades shine at Shellharbour Workers' Club Shellharbour Workers' Club had a unique brief: they wanted a screen to cover their gaming deck that wouldn't block the view, provided privacy & also complied with the Gaming Laws. Altis Architecture recommended Greenline's textile façade. 58m of textile façade screening in alternating blues makes a striking architectural feature at the Club. Practically, it fulfilled the Club's needs exactly! It provides great wind & solar protection without making the area feel closed in. |

Cerdon College Collaborating with Bow Gold Architects, Greenline proved again that shade can make a dramatic statement! Smaller shade sails overlapped each other over the eating areas. A crisp combination of blue & cream sails gave the design a striking contrast. Shade sails also cover the assembly area, measuring 26.9m x 18.2m at its widest points. 6 massive shade sails are attached to exposed framework to provide a modern but effective solution. |

Greenline Shade covers Albury Airport’s upgrade Albury Airport has been completed, with over 45m2 of Pedestrian Walkway System taking centre stage. This modern, sophisticated system has enabled pay stations, bus shelters, pedestrian walkways & a carpark shelter to all have the same streamlined look. Small details are what make the System outstanding. Glass inserts in the bus shelters kept the environment looking open & simple. Powdercoated aluminium roller shutter doors on the ticket booths were added for security. The carpark shelter is a massive 23.5 x 152m2, yet it’s maintained the same stylish look as the rest of the Pedestrian System. It’s a great combination of function & style. For those wanting a simple, cohesive, classic look that won’t date in shade, the Pedestrian System is your solution. |

Coles embraces the latest in textile facades Coles think outside the square – or perhaps they think without the square! In conjunction with the creative flair of i2c in Melbourne, they have selected Greenline’s fabric façade for use on a feature façade at a refit that is under way in metro Melbourne. Physical properties and ease of use made it an obvious choice! |

Maintenance work at Dreamworld – with an amazing result! Dreamworld had a unique brief for Greenline: Clean an old shade structure, move it, and make it look new. As it was to cover the Main Street, it had to look great for the first impressions. Greenline excelled! It was thoroughly repainted & cleaned. New footings were addedand 237m2 of PVC fabric added across the top. Clear PVC across the side of the structure allowed sunlight to pour in, giving it a roomy ambience. At the side a smaller 42m2 shade was added. Greenline carries out a range of maintenance programs, and we’ll do maintenance work on old structures. Call us to see how we can bring your old shade structures to life…you’ll be amazed at the results! |

Victorian Primary School Greenline provided a range of shade options for a school in regional Victoria. Our traditional shade sails proved their versatility by covering a range of areas in different ways. 2 massive sails span a 748m2 basketball court. A hypar sail on 8 posts provided continuous shade over the playground, and 3 smaller sails shaded eating areas. In addition to the sails, Greenline also provided a steel structure – a 14m x 28m COLA structure over another basketball court. |

New Cantilever structure at Donvale School Two Greenline PVC cantilever shade sails at Donvale Christian College now compliment their new Year 9 building. They were designed with a simple, minimalist look to integrate with the modern design of the surroundings. This brief was challenging as the sails were not able to be secured the normal way, due to a suspended concrete slab. The poles had to be bolted securely to the concrete slab. The College also chose Greenline PVC shade cloth due to its higher water repellant properties and UV blockout. |

NEW: Vandal deterrents for shade structures A must for public areas such as Council parks. The addition of rounded “vandal spikes”make posts a lot harder to climb which reduces vandal access to covers and therefore greatly decreases the risk of injury or death. These can be installed to existing structures and in kit form. |

I just wanted to follow up and let you know that the shade structures look great and the guys that you sent were co-operative, understanding and flexible to work with.
We had a few difficulties locating the large structure around some obstacles, but we are very happy with the outcome. Granted, the unusually hot November weather we are having, they really did it hard down here. Having had a multitude of tradies and contractors on my site over the past 14 months, please pass on my appreciation of their attention to the safety of our students whilst they did their work. Thanks also to you for your patience and persistence in getting through the hurdles that popped up along the way. Principal - Colac South West PS |
