Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with melanoma the most common cancer affecting 15 to 39-year-old Australians. This year alone, 1800 Australian are expected to die from melanoma – that’s an average of five people each day.
We say, this has to change! So, we’re doing something about it. As a sapphire partner with Melanoma Institute Australia (MIA), we have launched Raise the Roof – a fundraising campaign that will raise funds and could win some much-needed shade for your school.
The best bit? All funds raised by the raffle will be donated to MIA to contribute to the important research and work they do each day. Without their world-class research into prevention, treatments and education programs to spread awareness and knowledge about sun protection, melanoma will continue to take young lives.
Tickets are on sale now! A winner will be drawn on the 1 December 2017.
Ticket price is one ticket for $10, 3 tickets for $20, 5 tickets for $30 and 10 tickets for $50.
Maximum tickets in the draw are 4000 tickets.
