Raise the Roof

Congratulations & Thank you for helping us to:

Raise awareness. Raise funds. Raise the Roof.

We want to congratulate Connie who purchased the winning ticket for Pittwater House, North Sydney! Pittwater are the lucky recipients of a fantastic 8m x8m Star Structure! Connie also won a GoPro hero 5 and outdoors pack.

Second place ticket holder Roslyn won a 6m x 3m branded gazebo for her school Forbes North Primary School and a FitBit Charge2 and outdoors pack for herself.

Thank you to all of the schools who participated and their communities for purchasing tickets. All proceeds have been given straight to Melanoma Institute Australia to fund further research into a cure for melanoma.

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with melanoma the most common cancer affecting 15 to 39-year-old Australians. This year alone, 1800 Australian are expected to die from melanoma – that’s an average of five people each day.

We would also like to thank an amazing supplier of ours, Ricky Richards, who has kindly donated the fabric for the major prize.

So what was it all about?

Greenline is a sapphire partner for Melanoma Institute Australia and wanted to do something practical for schools to help in the prevention of sun damage in young Australians – so we decided to provide a competition where any school could participate! First prize was a $25,000- star structure*, second prize was a branded gazebo**. Of course, individual winning ticket holders also received a prize. First prize was a GoPro Hero5 + an ‘outdoors pack’ and second prize was a FitBit Charge 2 + ‘outdoors pack’. The prize draw took place at 11 am on December 1,2017.

The structure will be built in the January school holidays and we can’t wait to show you the results!!
